Summer Service Opportunities!

Think this summer is gonna be boring... well think again! This summer every Tuesday and Thursday starting June 9th we will have Service opportunities for you! The only thing we are asking is that you RSVP that you are coming to each event so that we know that you are coming! Below is a schedule of what we will be doing. ** This project is for High School students only that have already signed up to attend our week long mission trip from June 21^st to June 27^th in Bryan, TX.

*** This project is for Middle School students only that have already signed up to attend our mission trip from July 30^th to August 2^nd in Jacksonville, TX.

Boyd Elementary in Allen has about 65% of their students on the free and reduced lunch program. Therefore, summer can be tough on those families to provide meals. This program has been in place for several years and runs the month of June & July in order to help feed the children who are impacted. Organizations like ours are need to provide food and volunteers.

What are we going to do? Prepare food for each day (Monday - Friday) of our assigned week (July 6- July 10), plan and execute a craft and game for the kids. Program lasts about 1 1/2 to 2 hours each day. We will show up at 11 am and plan to leave about 1 pm.

There can be anywhere from 80-150 children in the program. So volunteers are NEEDED!
